Sleeping on the back with the arms along the body
Sleeping on the back with the arms along the body is considered as the most appropriate one because it is good for the spine and for the cervical spine unless you don’t use too much pillows. People who sleep on the back have problems with snoring much more then the ones who sleep in any other position.
Sleeping on the back with the hands over the head
This position is also known as Starfish which is also considered as healthy one for the spine, with or without the pillow. Sleeping on the back is also good for the face because it prevents from forming pimples on the face as well as cracked skin. But same as the previous position, this position causes snoring too. The position of arms over the head is pressuring the nerves on the shoulder which leads to pain.
Sleeping on the stomach
This sleeping position has possitive impact on the digestion. Sleeping on the stomach makes you to breathe in the pillow which leads to switching head all the time. Sleeping on the stomach can cause pain in the back because the curve of the spine has no proper support.
Fetus position
Sleeping in a curled up position of the ball with your knees up and face-down is a very comfortable position for the spine and neck. But, fetal position can restrict breathing deeply. The position of the fetus is suitable for pregnant women and those who have a problem with snoring. To sleep in this position – You sleep like a baby- they said.
Sleeping on side with the arms close to the body
When you sleep in this position, you support the spine perfectly. This sleeping position lowers the pain in the neck and back and snoring as well. This position can cause problems with skin aging and pimples too. This position makes the breasts hung.
Sleeping on side with an arm stretched out
This position has all the benefits as well as the sleeping on side with arms close to the body position. But this position can cause pain in the shoulders and the arm. The position is causing pressure on the nerves and the blood flow too.
Sleeping on the right side
If you sleep in this position, then side on which you sleep makes a huge difference. Sleeping on the right side could worse the heart work while sleeping on the left side could lead to delays of the internal organs such as the liver, the lungs and the rotten. It is recommended, for the pregnant women, to sleep on the left side so they can make better the blood circulation of the fetus.
Sleeping with the supporting pillow
People who sleep on the back can put a small pillow under the pelvis. People who sleep on the sides can put an extra pillow between the legs. And the once who sleep on the stomach can put the pillow under the hips so they could secure total relaxation and restfulness.
